About me – A Passionate Aseel Chicken Fancier and Livestock Breeder

My name is Ashraf Ali, and I am a passionate Aseel chicken fancier with over two decades of experience in breeding and raising exceptional Aseel chickens. My journey began at the age of 11, when I developed an intense fascination with Aseel chickens, which eventually grew into a lifelong passion. Since 2002, I’ve dedicated myself to raising and breeding some of the finest Aseel chickens, with a focus on preserving and improving their quality.

I hold a “BSc Digital Animation”, but my true calling led me to the livestock breeding field in 2010. After completing my education, I delved into goat farming, and my love for Aseel chickens never wavered. I have spent countless hours combining my expertise in breeding with my passion for Aseels and goats, traveling extensively across India to find the best bloodlines and develop my own high-quality stock.

Throughout my journey, I’ve been fortunate to meet some remarkable breeders who have helped me shape my breeding program. One of my closest friends and mentors, Rahul, is an exceptional Aseel breeder who has raised more than 500 birds, meticulously paying attention to every detail of their care and breeding. Our combined efforts have allowed us to grow our flock, and today, we proudly keep over 500 Aseel chickens from various legendary bloodlines.

We specialize in Rampuri Aseels, which are renowned for their strength and resilience. Our Rampuri Aseels come from the famous fanciers of Calcutta, including The Legend, The Saviour- Vincent Liu, My big brothers Asif Ali and Md Anees Bhai, Leesun Uncle, KK Lee Sir, and Dereck Xavier’s Uncle. Additionally, we are honored to have birds from Mr. Tlinga, a revered breeder from Aizawl, Mizoram, who has worked tirelessly to preserve and raise an incredible variety of Rampuri Aseels.

Before we ventured into Rampuri Aseels, I was fortunate to work with South India’s prized Aseel varieties. Over the years, I traveled to various renowned breeding hubs such as Bangalore, Pondicherry, Chennai (Madras), Tanjavoor, Coimbatore, Tirchy, Tirunelveli, Salem, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Hosur, Kolar, Vellore, Ambur, Nellore, Hyderabad, Kurnool, Hospet, Bellary, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and many more. In each of these places, I met with legendary breeders who generously shared their best stock, which allowed me to enhance and develop our Rampuri Aseel breeding program.

Our farm is now home to some of the finest Aseel chickens, a testament to years of dedication, collaboration, and passion for this incredible breed.
